Dave Irish
Rave Rover | Sunday | 14:00 PM - 15:00 PM
Dave Irish is a unique selector and mixer of music. He demands perfection when curating his sets and has quickly emerged onto big festival stages having played at EarthDance and SpiltMilk in 2018. Dave has taken a significant step in defining and showcasing his sound and has aptly chosen to play under his given name to do so. His sound is defined by an authentic interpretation and nuanced delivery of Techno which incorporates deep and melodic elements and off-center sonic anomalies.
Dave Irish is also the co-founder of Oh My Techno and Bonzer which have garnered significant praise for well curated club nights that consistently deliver. Perhaps the most important characteristic that defines Dave Irish is his versatility and ability to tailor his performance to suit the environment. Whether it be a festival stage, small room, opening or closing duties he thrives on the challenge to captivate the audience entirely.

Album #2 is long over due but rumor has it that fans can expect another classic soon.
Broken Toy
Rave Rover | Sunday | 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Broken Toy is James Copeland from Cape Town, South Africa.
His unique take on producing fullon psytrance with a twisted and quirky edge has earned him his position as one of the most low, down and dirty dancefloor manipulators in the scene today. Combining a forward thinking attitude with respect to the oldschool, you can expect a hard-hitting yet groovy dancefloor experience mixing elements of funk, indie-electro, and rocking psytrance.
ITs hard to imagine, but 2014 already marks 12 years of Broken Toy. Having started his career back in 2001 as a member of the project “Damage”, he was one of the pioneers of the South African psytrance scene alongside such artists as Rinkadink, Protoculture, and Shift. Soon after, he started the Broken Toy solo project and joined Uk based Alchemy records back in 2003.
Since then he has released over 70 tracks on various labels such as Nano, Spun, Timecode, Solar tech, etc and 2 full length albums on Alchemy records – his self-titled debut album and 2007`s “The low, down, dirty sound of…”
He has toured to over 20 countries and has played at major festivals all over the world such as Boom festival in Portugal, Glade festival in the UK, Full Moon festival in Germany, SOnica in Italy, Universo Parallelo in Brazil as well as all the major parties in South Africa such as Origin, Rezonance, Vortex, H20, Alien Safari, etc.
2010 saw him branching out in 2 new directions – going back to his roots as a metal guitarist and bass player with his tongue-in-cheek psy-rock project “Super evil” and also with an electro breaks project called “Nesono”. More recently in 2013, he`s taken things down a notch and made some Swing/gypsy-jazz flavoured tech house in his new self titled project, James Copeland and also Progressive techno project Sad Paradise.
With so many creative outlets, an uncluttered and refined vision of Broken Toy has emerged in 2015, set to ignite dancefloors across the world once more. Look out for a new album as well as the Broken Toy 10 year anniversary VA featuring remixes by all his friends across the globe out soon!
Stay tuned and enjoy!
Nanoplex

Nanoplex is the new live project from two of the pioneers of the UK progressive techno sound, Ben Coda & DJ Ipcress.
Ben Coda needs little introduction, his tech-prog sound crosses boundaries – tough beats and rolling basslines contrast with soaring melodies, fusing his love of the tougher sounds of techno and tech house with classic progressive house. With a busy international schedule, Coda is taking his sound to the masses.
DJ Ipcress has risen from the underground dance scene in the UK and over the last 5 years has taken his dark edged techno sound across Europe and the world. Fusing techno and house, with a deep minimal groove, a partnership with Ben Coda was always going to produce a slick future techno sound.

As with the parties they throw, their sound has always pushed the envelope musically, while nostalgically referencing 80’s synths, 90’s acid and a 21st centaury baseline.

Hexie
Rave Rover | Friday | 21:30 PM - 23:00 PM
The isolation chamber opens, the echoic strange of 16-bit video games jitter off into the darkness, there is a dark figure, a melodious giggle. HexieHexieHexie, the new avatar of Eve Rakow, is reborn as liquid weirdness. She’s letting the loser loose, with a new album and live show that’s going to scare you.
What is Hexie?
HexieHexieHexie is the new avatar of Eve Rakow (Stolen Pony, NO INTERNET, The Frown), but in many ways it’s always been here. Hexie is a long term experiment, an under the radar computer virus, steering Eve’s musical output both consciously and subconsciously. “It’s me claiming my crown,” says Eve. “as a loser. As a weirdo.” Having grown up listening to the Spice Girls and KORN simultaneously, Eve’s career has gone in every direction at once – with countless collaborations with the likes of Shamon Cassette, Spoek Mathambo and more.
The decision to reboot as Hexie on Chinese New Year (5th February) 2019 came after two years out of the game emotionally. “I think of myself as a professional mourner these days. I’ve been preparing for a death for a long time, since my mother had me very late. I always thought ‘fuck, thank God I have music to guide me through that time.’ In the end, there was nothing I wanted to do less than write.” Hexie turned to video games, something she’d never been interested in. “I hate that apathy culture, but ironically it was the music from those which turned me back on to my own art.”
