When one could assume, &ME entered the House and Techno world somewhat out of the blue, it is due to his sublime modesty that’s already captured in his alias. His way to become one of today’s most praised and sought after DJ/producers are based on a solid foundation. To make common cause with Fetisch, delivering beats for their joint venture Terranova and releasing EPs and an album on Kompakt plus his collaborations with Nic Fanciulli and releases on Saved Records and his project NR& with fellow producer Rampa and singer Nomi (Hercules & Love Affair, Jessica 6) are just a few milestones of that path.
Not to forget his solo productions, that made himself a name in a quite unparalleled way. “F.I.R.” – his first release on Kkeinemusik, a collective of Berlin-based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik & artist Monja Gentschow, he helped founding in 2009, was a massive club hit, but in the end not much more than a foretaste of things to come. With productions on various labels, his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ extraordinaire spread into international realms, and that’s where he stands right now, as his blend of Techno and soulful House music took incredible shape: Many new projects in focus and clearly visible as one of the most unique and original figures in the game.
The style of his DJ sets is to exhibit the great spectrum of sounds provided by house music; varying through progressive and techhouse whilst incorporating aspects of techno and trance. His skill with the vinyl, his impeccable choice of tracks, and his unique charisma combine to provide an exceptional experience.

It all started in the early seventies when a young boy saw television for the first time. Instantaneously fascinated by different soundtracks and jingles, a deep interest in music was born. After a short bedroom DJ career, Tomasz decided to produce his own music and thanks to a natural talent, he released his first single in 1996 on Pablo Gargano’s label, EVE records.
It sold very well and gave him both zest and confidence to strive for more. His influences from electronic and ambient-rock music like JM Jarre and Pink Floyd quickly formed a style that was to make him one of the most successful producers in a hypnotic and atmospheric trance. Under this trademark, Atmos had released 6 albums, loads of singles and has countless appearances on compilations but more important – his music has been embraced, played and loved by such a broad spectra of people, ranging from the top 10 DJs to aspiring bedroom DJs all over the world. Tomasz has also been touring all parts of the world, to every possible kind of event, for well over 20 years now and with great success.
His sense for merging rhythm programming with delicate strings into a well-produced groovy sound is guaranteed to make everyone get down to the dance floor and that has made him an instalment to count on in events all over the place.
First things frst: Try pronouncing that. Or maybe don’t – it’s all about the music after all. Born and raised in west Berlin Michel Neigenfnd – what his parents named him – had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age.
Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80’s, he soon realised musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions. Big beat, drum ‚n‘ bass, acid techno, early spiral tribe stuff… His first fusion festival in early 2000 as well as many illegal open airs and parties in a Berlin filled with open spaces after the fall of the wall, made clear the path he would take. Up until then a party DJ with diverse genres, his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. Through own events with Bachstelzen, a collective of organisers that has greatly influenced Berlin‘s party scene with its events in elaborately themed off-locations, the course was set for frequent techno/house DJ gigs.In 2006 his own productions started gathering appeal on different net labels followed by the first real release together with Sebo and Nayan Soukie on Sasse‘s label Mood Music in 2010.
Following further releases, the Boys Don‘t Eat EP on Katermukke brought a first taste of international success with high placings on the Beatport tech house charts (4. and 17.), as well as regular airplay on national and international radio. John Digweed even signed two tracks from the URSL 08 (Everything Will Change EP) and re-released them on his extremely successful Live In London mix.Further productions for Canadian, US and British labels followed as well as several releases on German labels. The steadily growing success of the URSL Records label which Madmotormiquel has been running together with Sebo and Soukie & Windish since 2010, has been a continuing reason for being booked way beyond the boundaries of Berlin.
Two Brazil tours, gigs all over Europe – over a hundred in 2012, productions which regularly feature in charts of notable Djs such as Martin Landsky, Tim Green, Tube & Berger, Robosonic and Dirty Dor̈ing leave the undoubtable impression somebody knows what he‘s doing. In the studio as well as behind the decks.
